Sunday Oregonian Front-page: Doctor and invention outlast jeers and threats
The story behind the development of the Epley maneuvers and
the Epley OmniaxTM was
featured in a major news story on the front page of the
Sunday Oregonian. In response, Dr. Epley’s clinic
received over 400 calls from all over the country. The
reporter, Joe Rohas-Burke worked for months on the story,
interviewing a dozen or more people. Rohas-Burke received
around 90 emails in response to the story, which he said is
a rare occurrence. The Oregonian is the state’s
largest paper with the 22nd largest circulation
in the country.
